Our expert team will discuss the findings of our latest white paper for the first time.

We are looking forward to hosting a short evening reception in Chicago next month. For the first time, our expert team will be discussing the findings of our latest study – The Science of Healthcare Congresses – at this exclusive event, which will take place on June 2nd – coinciding with the annual congress for the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).

ASCO is one of the most prestigious and well-attended congresses in the medical meetings calendar, so it presented itself as the perfect time and opportunity for us to talk through the findings of our congress-related white paper for the first time,” explains Ashfield Meetings & Events’ Head of Compliance, Andrew Moore.

The Science of Healthcare Congresses is a unique study of over 200 healthcare professionals (HCPs), from both Europe and the US, across a range of therapy areas. The white paper highlights HCP preferences and shares perceptive experiences of medical congresses – from their decision-making regarding attendance, how they value this type of activity, how they apportion their time on-site and engage with the healthcare industry, concluding with their post-congress evaluation.

“As many of the world’s leading healthcare companies will have a presence at ASCO – witnessing their own existing congress strategies in action – we’re sure they’ll also find it valuable to hear how healthcare professionals would like to see congresses evolving in the future,” adds US-based Director of Client Services, Katie Koziol. “We’re inviting those interested to join us for this short, casual reception after ASCO concludes for the evening, and we’re confident our insights will lead to many helpful and impactful conversations.”
